Magnification of the Lord
Worshiping God is all about giving God the
glory. We should magnify the Lord, which means " to enlarge". To make God larger than anything else in our life. When in Praise we say "I magnify you Lord," we literally say, "Lord I make you bigger in my life than any problem or need that I have in my life". Over the years we all must have sung and talked about things that we do not even really understand because we do not realize the meaning behind the songs or the things we say and listen to at church. Just by saying words of Praise like "God you are wonderful, You are Great, You are Big, You are above all else and I want to praise and worship you Lord", we are giving God the place he deserves. This realization would let us get a better understand of how GREAT OUR GOD IS and that he is much bigger than any need we have.
